I was on the way by car, heading farther east after brunch. Things started icing up crossing Rockfish Gap, so I assumed no one else was going to show and kept heading down I-64. Maybe we can get in a Saturday Lunch ride later this month when roads clear. Keep an eye on EVENTS.

Smart move, Chuck. Cyndi and I ended up driving down the Richmond as well, and we got caught in the storm on the way home that evening. Driving the whole way back from Short Pump at 20-30 MPH on I-64 was no fun, but I just cranked up the Acura's heater and counted my blessing that I wasn't out riding the Beemer in that nasty weather.

Hey, this coming weekend is supposed to be really nice, weather-wise. Unfortunately, I'll be up in Maryland on Saturday (working...blah!) But, AccuWeather.com says mostly cloudy and warm with a high of 71 degrees on Sunday, so I'm thinking we should just make this month's ride a "2nd Sunday" thing. Anyone up for that?

Second Sunday sounds good to me. I can't make it Saturday, either. Any suggestions on where/when to meet?

Sounds great ... especially if I can get Anton to put new tires on my bike this Friday.

How about meeting at La Taza in Belmont for coffee and take off for a lunch ride around 10:00 AM.
