Ethanol free gas in Charlottesville, maybe.

Post by tfjtolson » Thu Feb 03, 2011 3:34 pm

The guy at Becker's Enterprise on Harris Street in Charlottesville told me
today that the gas at the GoCo Oil store across the street sells ethanol free gas.
(It's at 924 Harris Street, Charlottesville, VA)

Can anyone verify that?
Does anyone have one of the fuel test kits?

Stopped in there today to fill up with real gas ... only to find out they switched to "up to 10% elthanol" on the 1st of April. Friends tell me that Southern States in Staunton is still real gas, but I have not verified this personally.

Where might one of these fuel test kits be found ?
And you might ask yourself, "where does that highway go?"

The Trading Post in North Garden, VA for sure sells Premium 93 Octane non-ethanol gasoline and have been for months. They also sell Premium On & Off-Road Diesel. Their address is 3017 Monacan Trail Rd. North Garden, VA 22959 right on U.S. 29 about 8 miles south of Charlottesville. They also have an awesome deli.
