In todays (Thurs. Jan. 26) Roanoke TImes there was an article that talked about the Virginia Motorcycle Advisory Council. Apparently the council was created by Gov. Warner to promote Virginia to the motorcycling community. They have set up a web site: http://www.motorcycleva.com/
There is a page for info on motorcycle clubs. Blue Ridge Beemers is not yet submitted. Someone in authority might want to take care of that.
Twin Valley Riders was also omitted, so I have attempted to correct that.

The BRB info has been submitted, but hasn't shown up yet. Is there an approval process?
I noticed that Rich Holman of Montrey is on the Governor's MC Advisory Council -- also Dale Coyner of Motorcycle Journeys Through the Appalachians, etc., fame. Under EVENTS the site lists Blessing of the Motorcycles at Burke's Garden on May 7 at 2 PM. Sounds like a First Sunday Ride possibility (after an early breakfast!). Interferes with the Georgia Mountain Rally, though.
