Yes, sock-burning. It's apparently a tradition in some places and who are we to argue? The Vernal Equinox can be an excuse for all sorts of things. I personally will use this as an opportinity to effect as much of a wardrobe renewal as I can, but don't feel compelled to join in. However, if you have a holey old pair of socks that are simply past their usefulness, send them off in style at our place. Or just come by and enjoy the flames and some beer.
