I spoke to Chuck briefly last Saturday at the RA rally in WV. Sad news.

I've known Chuck for many, many years. We've ridden together—and driven together—to BMW car, and bike events. I'd like to think I may have been the person who got him interested in BMW motorcycles though his enthusiasm for riding and his enjoyment of it over the past few years were all of his own making. I'm glad to have been able to spend at least some time with him at the rally this past weekend in West Virginia, but I'm saddened by the thought of not running into him again anytime soon. I remember the times his entire young family would attend the BMW Car Club events, and I remember particularly his daughter gently and caringly interacting with my much-younger first daughter at a Club picnic. I can't imagine what this must mean to his family and my heart goes out to them.

Please let us know when you hear about a memorial service. I'd like to attend.

The announcement mentions a future memorial service apparently in addition to the visitation. Any news on that?

Thanks.

That may be just for the family, I don't know anything more about that. I did go to see Suzanne this morning, and I will post anything I here about the Service. Butch
